Chain of Command

Following the Mayor and the Chief there are two mid-management
positions in the department creating a solid division of duties
that meets our efficiency criteria:

Every chief needs  to know his firefighters and Bobby started off by interviewing each of his firefighters to determine where in the scheme of meeting specific objectives each one would be best suited.   Results of these interviews revealed  strengths and weaknesses and served as the basis for new  programs and training emphasis. Job descriptions were revised  and combined with a strong chain of command helped the entire staff to become stronger in their team pursuits to meet our mission.
